JULIANA BEREZHNAYA

Founder & Artistic Directress | Stage Directress

Juliana Berezhnaya — theatre and opera directress, educator, and creator of powerful interdisciplinary performance.

Her artistic path began in acting and music, continued through film and musical theatre direction, and gradually developed into a distinctive stage language where emotion, body, music, image, and psychological precision meet. With more than 15 years of international experience, Juliana has worked across theatre, opera, film, education, and large-scale artistic projects, shaping productions from the first idea to the final encounter with the audience.

Her work is rooted in a deep love for meaningful narratives, strong visual aesthetics, and movement-driven contemporary storytelling. She creates authorial adaptations of classical works, transforming myths, plays, and operas into powerful stage experiences shaped by a contemporary female gaze. In her productions, familiar stories become alive again — visually striking, emotionally direct, physically expressive, and urgently connected to the present.

As the founder of ArT PLATFORMA and TEATR FORMA, she has created a space for bold artistic voices, strong female perspectives, and emotionally charged theatre. Her productions, including Medea, Three Sisters, Exit the King, The Seagull, Don Giovanni, Carmen, and Le nozze di Figaro, combine visual strength, physical presence, musical thinking, and intense actor work.

ELEONORA SHAFRAN

Lead Actress | Associate Directress | Acting Coach

Eleonora Shafran — film and theatre actress, associate directress, and acting coach.

She began acting in childhood and has built her artistic path across different countries, languages, and performance traditions. Trained in theatre and film, including studies in Moscow and Vancouver, Eleonora combines a strong classical foundation with contemporary screen technique, physical expressivity, and emotional precision.

As a lead actress of TEATR FORMA, she has become one of the company’s central artistic voices. Her roles include Medea in Medea and Olga in Three Sisters — two powerful female figures that demand depth, vulnerability, strength, and inner fire. Her stage presence is marked by intensity, honesty, and the ability to hold both fragility and force within one performance.

Beyond acting, Eleonora works as an associate directress and acting coach in ArT PLATFORMA, supporting performers in developing truthful presence, confidence, physical freedom, and emotional clarity. Her experience across theatre, film, Shakespeare, contemporary drama, and international opera productions gives her a sharp understanding of both the actor’s inner process and the wider structure of performance.

In ArT PLATFORMA and TEATR FORMA, Eleonora stands at the intersection of performance and creation — not only embodying characters on stage, but helping shape the artistic language of the company from within a female's perspective.
