Eleonora Shafran
Actress
Eleonora Shafran is a versatile and accomplished actress with a passion for both stage and screen, currently residing in Prague. Her journey in the performing arts began in Moscow, where she received a solid foundation in theatre, instilling in her a deep appreciation for classical performance. Driven by a desire to broaden her skills, Eleonora graduated from the prestigious Vancouver Film School's Acting for Film and Television program, where she expanded her expertise in screen acting. Her career has taken her around the globe, allowing her to work alongside diverse artists and refine her craft through various international projects. Her recent collaborations with the Prague Shakespeare Company, where she played dynamic gender-swapped roles such as Duke Orsino and Antonio in Twelfth Night and Master Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor, further illustrate her range and adaptability as an actress. Eleonora is currently collaborating with TEATR FORMA, where she continues to explore emotional depth and expressive techniques in her performances.
Anna Hulchenko
Actress
Anna Hulchenko is a dedicated and dynamic actress based in Prague, where she has been performing with TEATR FORMA since 2022.
Anna’s acting journey started at Studio "Ptah" in Lviv, where she developed a strong technical foundation. Her training continues at "ArT Platforma," where she refines her craft through an intensive program that combines acting with movement and emotional expression.
Her notable roles include the Guard in Eugène Ionesco’s Exit the King, Suzon in 8 Women by François Ozon, and Iryna in Anton Chekhov’s Three Sisters. Fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, Anna brings a multicultural perspective to her work, as well as skills in music and dance, adding depth and versatility to her portrayals.
She is enthusiastic about exploring diverse characters, which fuels her growth as an artist and her desire to connect with audiences.
Julia Hlavačová
Actress
Julia Hlavačová is a Prague-based actress whose presence in theatre and film has been steadily growing. Julia began her formal training in 2019 at ArT Platforma Acting School, where she completed the "Acting for Life" program, igniting her passion for the performing arts. This rigorous training provided her with a comprehensive foundation, and as a core member of TEATR FORMA, she has since been involved in a diverse range of projects.
Julia’s standout stage roles include Queen Marguerite in Eugène Ionesco’s "Le Roi se meurt" and Pierette/Granny in 8 Women by Robert Thomas. In addition to her work with TEATR FORMA, Julia has collaborated with other theatre companies, such as Dark Bark Drama and Rehearsal for Living, broadening her experience in different performance styles. Committed to continuous artistic growth, Julia participates in workshops focused on the Meisner technique, acting for the camera, and voice training, which has enhanced her skill set and supported her evolution as an actress.
Elina Timashevskaia
Actress
Elina Timashevskaia is an actress based in Prague, celebrated for her depth of expression and dedication to the art of performance. Her training journey has been intensive and multifaceted, encompassing ballet, contemporary dance, vocal performance, and rhetoric, with a focus on uniting physicality and emotion. Since joining TEATR FORMA, Elina has refined her craft across a range of acting styles, embracing both classical and modern techniques. Her notable performances include Marie in Eugène Ionesco’s absurdist play Exit the King, Alice in A Mad Tea Party, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, and Catherine/Chanel in Love, Lies, and Family Ties, an adaptation of works by François Ozon and Robert Thomas. In addition to her stage roles, Elina has appeared in six short films produced by FAMU students, showcasing her versatility in both English and Czech.
Elina’s dedication to exploring new forms of expression and her multidisciplinary training has established her as a compelling talent in both theatre and film.
Zhadyra Zhanbolova
Assistant Director
Zhadyra is an assistant director at TEATR FORMA LaB, where she combines her passion for theatre with her commitment to professional growth in the performing arts. Originally from Kazakhstan and living in Prague for nearly five years, Zhadyra’s journey in the arts began in childhood, with early experiences in dance and singing. As she grew, her artistic pursuits expanded to include musical instruments and vocal performance, serving as her primary forms of self-expression.
Zhadyra’s transformative journey in acting began when she joined Art Platforma’s Theatre LaB, where she discovered a new, profoundly therapeutic outlet for her creativity. Since then, she has developed a deep appreciation for the craft of acting, participating in stage performances and engaging with the entire production process—from character exploration to the final performance. Zhadyra views theatre not only as a storytelling medium but as a path for personal transformation, aligning perfectly with the mission and values of TEATR FORMA. In her role at TEATR FORMA LaB, Zhadyra actively supports the company’s productions and contributes to the creative process, driven by her goal to grow as an artist. She is excited to share in the company’s dedication to powerful, transformative theatre.
