HER STAGE LAB is a professional theatre laboratory created through a female perspective and led by a female artistic duo.
Based on the material of 8 Women by Robert Thomas.
Adapted and rewritten by Juliana Berezhnaya.
The programme is aimed at actresses and female creatives, offering an intensive process of acting, movement, text, ensemble work and stage presence — grounded in strong female narratives, emotional truth and bold theatrical expression.
A space to train, create, risk, transform — and step fully into your own stage voice.

EXPLORATION TRACK
For beginners and emerging female creatives.
Open to 8 female participants only.
This track is aimed at female participants with no or little acting experience who want to enter the creative process and discover professional acting tools in a supportive, inspiring environment.
The programme includes foundation acting training, body and voice work, ensemble exercises, and work with the material of 8 Women. Through basic text and dramaturgy analysis from a female gaze, participants will take their first steps in building a character, working with a monologue or short scene, understanding the rehearsal process and developing stage presence.
A track for those who want to explore, try, train, learn and open their creative voice.
SHOWCASE TRACK
For female creatives enthusiasts — from rehearsal space to stage.
Open to 8 female participants only.
This track is aimed at female participants who want to gain real stage experience through a focused rehearsal process and individual coaching.
The programme offers detailed character development, text work, scene or monologue preparation, rehearsal practice and performance guidance.
Participants will work on a specific character from the adapted material of 8 Women, develop at least one monologue or scene, and take part in the final showcase presentation.
A track for those who want to rehearse with purpose, go deeper into the role and experience the full journey from training room to stage.
OPEN CALL
For experienced female creatives.
Open to 4 female performers only.
Selective track for actresses ready to join the full production of 8 Women.
We invite experienced female performers to apply for participation in 8 Women, directed by Juliana Berezhnaya, alongside guest artists of TEATR FORMA.
This production will open the HER STAGE FESTIVAL and will take place from August 1 to August 8.
The selection will be held through a casting process. Applicants are encouraged to apply without age, type, role or concept limitations. There is no need to choose a character in advance or try to “fit” yourself into a specific role. We are looking for performers who are ready to trust the directorial vision, work through a female gaze, and enter the process with openness, precision and creative courage.
Selected performers will join an intensive process including acting training, rehearsals, individual coaching, character development, performance preparation and focused work towards the full stage production.
This track requires strong acting skills, commitment, ensemble awareness and readiness to work within a clear artistic and directorial concept.
Participation may also open the possibility for future collaboration with TEATR FORMA.
For applicants who are not selected for the full production, participation in the Showcase Track may be offered as an alternative.
